Ansari Designs
Wafiyyah Luqman
Waffiyah Luqman of ANSARI DESIGNS has been sewing since she was seven years old. Her professional experiences include being one of the founders of the Evening of Elegance, an annual fashion show/fundraiser for the Clara Mohammed School in Oakland, California. The show spanned some twenty years and she had regular submissions for twelve of those years. In addition, she developed a special occasion business which included designing and making wedding and prom dresses for clients. She also worked with professional women who were transitioning into a wardrobe that spoke to their modest, creative esthetic, yet allowed them to function in the work environment. More recently and upon relocating to Metro Atlanta in 1996, she has attended and been involved in the modest clothing movement. She has had many private clients and participated in at least three Sealed Nectar shows most recently 2020. Since 2020 she has continued to work with private clients and taught many sewing classes.

Nefertari Hazziez
Nefertari Hazziez is an innovator who understands the importance of having confidence as a multifaceted woman in the 21st century. She is known for innovating designs that tell a story from concept to consumer. In 2002 Nefertari was inspired by Imam Mohammed to act on her interest in fashion. By 2006 Nefertari graduated Summa Cumm Laude with her bachelor’s in fine arts from American Intercontinental University and her story grew from there.
Queens’ Creations was created to empower the modest woman with creative expression that exudes elegance and excellence. Queens’ Creations has become a house hold name that illuminated from the famous Peacock Dress which was debuted in Graceline Fashion Show in Chicago. She later designed another Peacock dress that would be displayed at the casting for Project Runway.
Stimulated by the designer’s lifestyle, her vision has been to use Queens’ Creations as a vehicle to inspire, build confidence, increase self-esteem so you can be your own kind of beautiful. We are here to influence Modest Fashion with our designs and enhance the natural beauty that builds self-awareness and promote positive style and grace. Nefertari H. Hazziez is a very well known artist who exudes intelligence and elegance that builds confidence and good leadership skills which is captured through being a wife and mother of seven children and 5 grand children as well as helping others in the community.
Shukuru Couture
Melanie Austin
Shukuru- meaning: thankful and grateful, swahili/arabic. Is owned by Melanie Austin. A self-taught designer and fashion enthusiast for over 15 years. Shukuru Couture's unique designs consist of an intricate mix of fabrics from leather to lace, burlap and sequins etc.. Her fashion style and attention to details can be interpreted as "architectural-couture," feminine, chic, beautiful, and fashion Art.
Shukuru Couture design's are inspired by, vivid contrasting colors and movement in nature- both peaceful and dramatic, with cultural influences from India, to Africa and Paris to the U.S. and beyond.

Zehra Abukar
Zehra Abukar was born in Somaliland and grew up in Turkey. Zehra won Miss Muslimah USA in 2020. She's a community leader and advocate of women's rights.
She designs clothes to inspire Muslim women all over the globe. She has been sewing since she was a little girl, her mother was a seamstress.
Zehra wants to become Haute Couture owner to make exclusive dresses for Muslim women.
